Federally funded construction projects typically mandate
the payment of prevailing wages (Davis-Bacon Act). The
US Department of Labor issues a prevailing wage schedule
for each geographic region of the United States. However,
in recent decades, many in the construction industry have
become lax in preparing and filing the necessary information
on WD-10 reports and submitting it to the USDOL in a timely
manner. When the information is not collected during a
project, it becomes much more difficult to establish accurate
prevailing rates in an area. The more expensive and time
consuming process of collecting data after the projects
are completed can be avoided. Ask OVSS LECET how we work
in a proactive mode. |
